The intensification of the international trade is a phenomenon that was already visible from the end of Second World War. It has strongly accelerated over the last decade, driven by European enlargement and the arrival on the international scene of large countries such as China, India, Brazil or Russia.
How does the Belgian economy react to these changes? What determines our competitiveness? Should we fear massive relocation of jobs ? What are the possible answers to these new challenges ?
