In this database, domestic employment by industry is disaggregated by gender, age class and education level. These categories are available for total domestic employment and for self-employed and employees separately.
The database yields annual data for the period 1999-2009 and is consistent with the na-tional accounts published in October 2010. Differences with earlier versions of the da-tabase are due to revisions of the industry totals in the NA as well as improvements in the methodology for compiling the distribution of personal characteristics.
