The FPB not only publishes the results of its research, but also a set of databases. These databases can contain either historical data or forecasts.

Social protection, demography and prospective studies 

This database presents the very-long-term outlook of social protection expenditure (budgetary costs of ageing) and the evaluation of the poverty risk among pensioners according to the hypotheses of the Study Committee on Ageing’s reference scenario.

The household projections 2018-2070 are based on the observed population on 1 January 2018. They are provided by district and household type.

The population projections 2019-2070 are based on the observed population on 1 January. They are provided by district, age and gender.

The data contained in the files are the results of the projection by gender and unisex of the mortality rates (q-type rate) for Belgium made within the framework of the population projections 2019-2070 (according to the method described in WP 18-09). The resulting transversal and longitudinal life expectancies are also included in the file.
