The Federal Planning Bureau hosts the secretariat of the Committee on Public Investment. The Committee is part of the High Council of Finance and is in charge of drawing up reports and opinions on the evolution, needs, implementation and impact of public investments in Belgium, inter alia to assist the Minister(s) in charge of Economic Affairs, Finance and Budget, in the development of a public investment policy.
The Committee is assisted by a secretariat, consisting of two members which carries out the tasks defined by the Chairperson of the Committee. The secretariat draws up the work programme in consultation with the Committee.
