Patricia Delbaere has been working at the Federal Planning Bureau as an analyst in the Task Force on Sustainable Development since early 2004. Using a transdisciplinary approach, she contributes to the analyses of the present situation, the policy assessments and the prospective scenarios in the Federal Reports on Sustainable Development. She holds a master’s degree in biology and a Diploma of Specialised Studies (DESS) in science and environmental management.
In the Reports, she is responsible for the themes of biological diversity and food, within the context of sustainable development. She is also responsible for the cross-disciplinary and global assessment of the Federal Plan for Sustainable Development, among others through indicators developed by the Task Force.
Since 2006, she has also been responsible for setting up and implementing the environmental management system EMAS within the Federal Planning Bureau.
