Indicators

To evaluate the current state of the Belgian economy, the FPB regularly updates a series of indicators. The indicators concern the macro-economic stance of the economies of Belgium, its three neighbouring countries and the euro area, as well as the transport industry.

Description: the financial sector liabilities measure the evolution of the sum of all liabilities (which includes currency and deposits, securities other than shares, loans, shares and other equity, insurance technical reserves and other accounts payable) of the financial sector. The indicator in the Alert Mechanism Scoreboard is expressed as year on year growth rate. The threshold is 16.5%.
