The FPB not only publishes the results of its research, but also a set of databases. These databases can contain either historical data or forecasts.
This database forms the statistical annex of the most recent medium-term outlook for the Belgian economy. It contains yearly figures for Belgium covering the period 1996-2027. The data are derived from the HERMES model.
Twice a year the FPB publishes economic forecasts for a six-year period. In February it is a macroeconomic projection, while in June it is a more comprehensive macrosectoral projection.
The tables of the February edition contain series on the international environment, GDP following the expenditure approach (in current prices, volume and deflators), the development of the overall wage bill in the market sector, the labour market and the sector accounts (households, corporations, general government and the rest of the world). The June version comprises a more comprehensive set of tables, with a.o. results by industry.
