Structural studies 

This database contains the main variables which provide a better understanding of the evolution in labour productivity in Belgium. It constitutes the Belgian part of the European EUKLEMS project and includes the entire economy, divided into 34 industries and several aggregates over the period 1995-2015.

This database collects data on foreign affiliates of Belgian companies in 1995, 2001 and 2005.  It allows the top 10 entreprise groups for these three years to be established.   It also includes information on the number, the host countries and the activity branch of those affiliates.

This database contains snapshots of government participation in market sector companies in 1997, 2003 and 2009. The main information it presents is the participation distribution by government level, legal status of the company or industry.

The website www.innovationdata.be provides a set of indicators describing the progress made by Belgium and its regions in the field of innovation. Data are also available for the Netherlands, France, Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, the EU average and the euro area. The website has been developed by the Federal Planning Bureau at the request of the Federal Science Policy, following the Federal Government’s decision to create a transversal technology platform.

In this database, domestic employment, labour volume (hours worked) and the wage costs of wage earners are broken down per industry (A38 of Nace rev. 2) according to gender, age group and education level. The breakdowns of employment and labour volumes are available for domestic employment as a whole and for wage earners and self-employed people separately. The database provides annual results for the period 1999-2015 and corresponds with the last edition of the national accounts (October 2016).

The database includes the main measures of the administrative burden for companies and the self-employed in Belgium from the biennial surveys conducted by the Federal Planning Bureau (FPB) since 2000. It also includes a qualitative part, which allows the evolution in the perception of the quality of regulation and of contacts with the administration to be followed.
